What Does the Average Producing Agent Make Their First Year?

New agents with zero work/sales experience typically average $45,000-$70,000 their first year. Your income will depend on how well you implement our training, and how much time you dedicate to spending in the field.

What Can A Top Producing Agent Earn in Their First 12 Months and Beyond?

If you are someone that is willing to spend 50+ hours a week in the field selling, mimicking our sales training, and working 20+ leads a week, you can make anywhere from $80,000-$150,000 gross income in your first year!

Is This Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing?

No. Lincoln Heritage is a life insurance company. Final Expense Life Insurance sales is a lead driven business. 70%+ of our agency's sales come from the Lincoln Heritage lead system. You can make sales to your friends, family, and warm market if you want to, but that will not build you a long-term career with consistent income. We also train you to get referrals and do seminars/workshops through the leads.

What Are Most Agents Making in Pay Thru (Residual + As Earned) After 1 Year?

Most average writing producers will make $1,500 to $2,000 a month after just 12 months in business, on top of their normal commissions. This check is paid out at the beginning of each month. This number can fluctuate based on the number of policies you retain and the amount of business you write. A top producer can exceed $3,000/month residual income within a year.
How nice would it be starting with a monthly check every month, based on the policies you've already sold?

How Many Hours Will I Have to Spend In the Field Working Leads?

To be successful at this you need to spend 40 hours a week in the field working your leads. The more time you put in the field (especially your first 6 months to a year) the easier this will be, and the more money you will make.
If you are looking for another product to sell or for a part time job, this is NOT the opportunity for you. We are only looking to hire FULL TIME agents for our lead program. If you are transitioning from another career, then we are looking for a full transition within 90 days.

How Many Leads Will I Receive?

Most agents take 15 to 20 fresh, local, exclusive leads a week. No minimum or maximum number of leads are required.

What is the Average Closing Ratio?

Our agency averages 40 policies written for every 100 leads taken. We work referrals, do seminars/workshops, and sometimes write multiple policies in one household.
If you are closing less than 33%, you are doing something wrong. You really should be around 40% closing ratio. If you are struggling, all you have to do is ask for assistance and we will help you to make the necessary adjustments to get your ratios up and be successful.

How Does Our Training Work?

We do product knowledge and administrative training through our training website. We have a 3-day training class for all new agents. This training teaches you the scripts, the presentation, and how to handle the objections. It is done via classroom training and role play. You must attend this before you start receiving leads. After that you will do field training with one of our top producing agents/managers for 3 days. You will then start going out working leads by yourself. For the next 4 weeks you will do field training 1 day per week with a top producing agent/manager. There is also a 30 minute training conference call held each week.

Why are Our Leads so Good?

Lincoln Heritage walks the fine line of obtaining the best quality lead for the cheapest price. They are obtained through our Television commercials, our direct mail program, and digital advertising. Most leads are within 3 to 15 days old and have not been worked by any other agents.
Lincoln Heritage invests millions of dollars each and every year continually testing different leads to guarantee that we have the best Final Expense Leads out there!
We order you leads in the counties you would like to work. You must be willing to work within 60 minutes of where you live, but we'll always keep you as close to home as possible.
Plus we've ran TV commercials in every major area in the country for years, making us a household name. Whether you're working a direct mail lead, or a TV lead… our company name is branded in the senior market making it easier for you to sell!

What Is the Average Monthly Payment for Our Clients?

$50-$65 a month is the most common. It varies in different territories. We can go as low as $15 a month.

What Type of Life Insurance is This?

We sell whole life Final Expense Policies, designed to cover funeral costs. The clients designate who they want to be their beneficiary. This means it accrues cash value, has no increasing payments, no decreasing value (as long as monthly premiums are paid), and most people qualify (even those with pre-existing medical conditions)

Do You Sell any Other Products?

No, we sell Final Expense Life Insurance with one company! (Remember, the Jack of all Trades is a master of none!) Why would you want to, if you can simplify and make MORE MONEY selling one product?

What Does a Field Agent's Average Day Look Like?

Our agents are out in the field working 15-20 fresh exclusive leads a week. You have the ability to set and work your own schedule, but you need to commit to a minimum of 40 hours a week to be successful. In the Final Expense market day time is the prime time to work. Seniors do not want to do business at night. It's recommended that you start in the field by 9am and put in a solid, full day's work. Most of the time is spent talking with people in their homes. This is a true outside sales business with leads provided.

What is Lead Financing?

Lead financing simply means, we give you leads at no up-front cost to you. When you sell a policy, we use half of your commission to pay your for leads if you owe lead costs. If you don't have any lead cost, then we don't take anything. We have to charge for leads because it's the only way we can produce a quality lead. This is what puts us in front of quality prospects and allows us to out-produce every other company in the final expense market.
We don't have any finance charges, and we continually improve and test our leads to ensure you are getting the best leads available.
Companies that offer no cost or low-cost leads have to make it up somewhere. Either they offer a lower commission, a lower quality lead, a non-exclusive lead, or they do not let agents get residual income.

Do You Have Chargebacks?

Yes. All insurance companies have pro-rated chargebacks if the client cancels within their first year, but we finance the charges. For example, if you owe $500 in chargebacks, then we will not hold all your commission until it's paid like most companies do. We do a 50/50 payback on chargebacks just like leads. Let's say your commission is $400. We will use $200 to pay toward the chargeback and $200 goes to you. This keeps your cash flow going.

How Can You Make $100K+ a Year Selling $60/Month Policies?

Volume! These are small policies for a small premium, but we sell A LOT of them. The Spurgeon Group has written over 20,000 policies in the last 3 years!
